The elegant River Room offered stunning views, but the cleanliness left much to be desired, with finds that made me question the upkeep. The staff were friendly and accommodating, though dining options closed earlier than expected, limiting choices post-9pm. Overall, a memorable place with room for improvement.

A surprise upgrade delight

The staff graciously upgraded us to a spacious suite with stunning river views. The location was perfect for morning jogs along the river!

Upon arrival, we faced some confusion regarding our initial room assignment, which was disappointing. But we navigated through it.

The King Studio with Sofa Bed offered stunning views of the river, and the room was modern and impeccably clean. While the large windows created a bright atmosphere, it was disappointing to find only one plate, one bowl, and minimal utensils available for cooking. The breakfast was notably hot and delicious, showcasing signature meats that stood out. Although the daytime front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, the evening staff lacked the same warmth.

We had a lovely time enjoying the tasty breakfast options and gathering in the lobby over some pizza. The indoor pool and BBQ facilities were perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Just a little noisy at night, but nothing that ruined our overall experience. 😊

Also, I was charged a higher rate than what was confirmed, which created unnecessary hassle with the management over a small discrepancy. The breakfast left much to be desired with limited options and freshness, and the restaurant being closed on Sundays was a letdown, especially with an event next door that would have brought in guests. For a place so close to a popular venue, partnering with local events should be on their radar.
